In Compliance with CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) 2008 Section 101 Lead Content in substrates (<300 ppm lead) and Section 108 Phthalates (<.1% DBP DEHP,DINP,DIDP)
Puff Plastisol Ink/PF-PP Series is popularized with the attractiveness of three dimensional (3D) print effect.
Puff Plastisol Ink/PF-PP Series resembles the characteristics of water-based puff ink with its rapid cure rate, creamy consistency for easy screen print-ability and safe handling. For quick and easy modification in many textile applications.
Note: Pre-test on actual substrate any full production run, for adhesion, wash fastness and other desired effects.
Durable, soft-hand finish.
Available High Opaque and Fluorescent colors.
Mesh counts up to 110 monofilament polyester (44T European Mesh).
Dual-cure sensitized direct method photo emulsion or SBQ pre-sensitized photo emulsion or equivalent.
Heat-cure at approximately 320°F (160°C) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Will not air-dry.
Puff Effect is rapidly achieved, Highest level of durability is not obtained until the entire print reaches 320ºF throughout.
For thorough cure, enough dual time is needed for prints to reach the required temperature of 320ºF (160ºC). Excessive Heat applied to Puff Plastisol will result in cracking of prints or uneven puff.
When printing textiles, use a medium hard (65-85 durometer) squeegee.
Puff Plastisol Ink responds to heat. Always store at cool room temperatures below 90°F (32°C). Avoid exposing inks to elevated temperatures before printing.
1- quart (0.945 Liter), 1-gallon (3.78 Liters), 5-gallon (18.9 Liters) containers. *30-gallon (113.4 Liters) and 55-gallon (207.9 Liters).
SAFETY & HANDLING:
Refer to Material Safety Date Sheet (MSDS) for complete information.
To reduce ink viscosity with RE-703 or RE-704, add 1-5 5% or less (by weight of ink). Reducer is to be used very sparingly and only when RE-705 can be added up to 10-20% (by weight of ink) if color shade is not crucial.
WASH UP SOLVENT:
T-125 – Wash up or equivalent. / SC-500 – Bio.Wash-up / SC-510 – Instant Bio.Wash-up (Non-Petrochemical)
