UV-5000 Series Multi-Purpose Ink is a high quality, UV ink used in printing most glass, metal, rubber and some plastic substrates.
UV-5000 Series Multi-Purpose Ink is a One part system, ready to use straight from the container.
Note: Pre test on actual substrate before any full production run.
Available in opaque and transparent colors. All colors are formulated with non-leaded pigments.
Approximately 3,000 square feet (363m2) per gallon.
Mesh counts 355-390 (139T-153T/cm European) monofilament polyester for most applications. Use mesh count 305 (122T European) when printing with fine metallic powders.
Dual cure direct method photo emulsion or SBQ pre-sensitized photo emulsion or equivalent. Also, any solvent-resistant film or photo emulsion.
UV curing required. Use one or more 200 or 300 , 600 watt mercury vapor lamp
To extend color and/or reduce pigmentation, add UV-5790 Clear Base. For printing fine lines and 4 color process halftones, add UV-5800 Halftone Base. To improve ink flow, add 1 % to 2% (by weight of ink) FA-01 Flow Agent. To reduce ink’s viscosity, add approximately 2 to 8% (by weight of ink) UV-RE100
1-quart (0.945 Liter), 1-gallon (3.78 Liters), 5-gallon (18.9 Liters) containers. *Drums available in 30-gallon (113.4 Liters) and 55-gallon (207.9 Liters).
